Consent and Privacy
The in-app consent checkbox, shown during vehicle setup, is pictured below (step 3 of onboarding). Unchecked by default. Optional — operators can proceed without enabling SMS.
How operators opt in
SMS consent is collected during vehicle setup in the GigaCarbon app. A dedicated checkbox appears on the onboarding screen where the fleet owner enters their phone number. The checkbox is unchecked by default. Operators can complete the setup and use the product without enabling SMS.
What we send
Daily fleet summaries at 6pm (miles driven, activity, last location, live tracking link). Weekly summaries. Vehicle activity alerts. No marketing. No third-party content. Message frequency varies based on fleet size and activity, up to ~5 messages per day. Msg & data rates may apply.
How to opt out
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all GigaCarbon SMS messages. Reply HELP for support. Opt-out is immediate and permanent unless the operator re-enrolls via the app. Operators can also request removal by emailing [email protected].
